I wonder if some good old fashioned cod liver oil would be helpful. The vitamin D council reports that vit. D deficiency can contribute to diabetes I and II. A long time ago, a spoonful of codliver oil was given as a cure all. I remember my mom telling me that she'd get a spoon of the stuff whenever she started coming down with something.
