Electrolytes can be lost through excessive sweating over an extended period and diarrhea. There's a very good product you can buy to replace your electrolytes called "Emergen C". It's a powder that comes in various flavours in small packets that you can purchase in most health food stores. It's Vitamin C and minerals which replace your electrolytes. It's not only delicious but good for you.
