I am a 41 year female in good health. I have never had any major health issues in my life. However, lately I have been vomiting immeditately after eating. It usually starts with an annoying trickle in my throat. I will constantly clear my throat, and then I will throw up. It may also start with coughing immediately after eating. My throat feels as if it is opening wider, I cough, then vomit. There is no nausea or pain, nor is it acidic. I cannot predict when it's going to happen, because everything seems fine and then for seemingly no reason, I will vomit up my meal. I have not loss any weight. I am down to one meal a day, because I am just not hungry anymore. I have no insurance, so I cannot go to the doctor right now.

How I handle it:
I drink a cup of hot tea, coffee, or just plain hot water after a meal. This STOPS IT.

If hot water isn't immediately available, I always have a bottle of cough syrup in my purse. Taking just one gulp will stop the coughing, and therefore stops the vomitting.

Also, if I eat a REALLY HEALTHY meal (salad) I don't vomit. I can no longer eat fast food, because it comes up full force.

I also eat smaller meals. That seems to give me more control over the situation.

I have noticed that if I burp after a meal, it means my food will PROBABLY digest with no vomitting.
