Hi guys,

I've found a temporary cure that should help people with small areas of peeling.

I bought some cold sore patches from my local supermarket on a whim, thinking i'd try them out. I applied a patch overnight on the middle of my upper lip, the triangle part (this was on the day of a fresh peel btw).

So I woke up in the morning, took off the cold sore patch and amazingly there was no skin build up of any kind. There was also no white line. I repeated the same process, applying the patch before I went to sleep, for 8 days. While the rest of my lips went through my normal cycle, that little triangle area remained completely normal.

So for 8 days, no peeling, no skin excess skin build-up and no white line.

However I decided to try a few nights without and unfortunately the overgrowing skin came back.

So potentially a person could cure themselves if their peeling area is small enough and they used the cold sore patches nightly. I only tried them for 8 days so maybe they'd work better over the longer term, who knows. I just wanted to let people know, maybe it'll help some of you.

Here is the brand i used
