An endocrinologist will probably give you a blood test to determine if you have adrenal fatigue. This test is not sensitive enough to detect most cases of it--the saliva test is much better for this. You may be able to get a kit and have your saliva tested at a lab without having to consult a ND.

For detoxification, it's best to start with colon cleansing. colonics and a high-fiber diet are a good place to start. You might want to read "Dr. Jensen's Guide to Better Bowel Care" by Dr. Bernard Jensen for further recommendations.
