Anja; this reminds me of the first time I quit; in my early twenties; Had no coffee for several months, then I really gave in to it at a social event; had 4-5 cups of coffee in a couple of hours. Ouch, it was a bad trip; I was trembling, my heart was pounding and I barely touched the ground the rest of the day (or that night) Have had the greatest respect of this beverage ever since.

I believe however that the reaction to caffeine differs a lot from person to person; I for instance easily get addicted, others seems to handle it better.
