Yes & no. I think we should kill the parasites thru the use of herbs, but I disagree with those practitioners who think that constantly killing worms is enough. Just because there are herbs that will keep the parasites more or less under control doesn't make this a good situation.
Andreas Moritz unfortunately, however, doesn't understand that not everyone is capable of following, year in and year out, the strict diet necessary to keep parasites away.
I would recommend reading 3rd edition of Paul Pitchford's book Healing with Whole Foods, which has a long, detailed chapter on parasites and how to deal with them. He says, as do all those knowledgable on Oriental medicine (traditional), that certain foods promote internal conditions that attract parasites and encourage them to proliferate. This underlying internal condition is known in TCM as "dampness" or just "damp".
Further, Pitchford says you shouldn't just take a hodge podge of herbs. Some antiparasitics have a very "cold" energy and will give you symptoms and cause imbalance - unless they are modified by "warming" or "heating" herbs. For example, wormwood and green walnut are "cold". But thyme, garlic, prickly ash bark & oregano oil are "heating". Therefore, they work together with the "cold" herbs to not only kill the parasites but also modify the internal environment that invites parasites in the first place.
Also, Pitchford discusses the necessity of intestinal cleansing during parasite purges.
Oh, go take the book out of the library and read that chapter. You won't be sorry. It is so very helpful.
