yes, it was the thought of Mayans (and Native Americans on forced marches :-( ) taking just a T. of the plain seeds and this serving their nutirional needs for long hours that was inspiring to me.

they are a bit expensive to use the way you'd use flax. Wow, I had some delicious crackers this summer. Flax-based, very flavourful that a friend made, and they had a lot of dill in them, which normally I don't like, when it's dried. But mmm. Really good. I'm starting to clearly picture some more. Different taste. Does that mean they are coming togther in the ether?
