It is unlikely that the cayenne pepper did any damage.... hard to say, you described a sketchy situation. More details might help uncover what is going on with the vertigo. What form of Cayenne did you put into your ear - powder, tincture, raw cayene, which? That you were putting anything in your ear indicates you had some sort of problem going on there to begin with. Whats up with that? Just like many other diseases, there are numerous causes to vertigo, so you may not find a quick answer to this question. Vertigo in general indicates something going on in the Inner Ear where the tiny tubes with fluid help to maintain your sense of balance. Whatever you have going on, I'm guessing that if the dose of Cayenne did anything, it stirred up the situation you already had going on in there.... whatever that is or was.

If you really believe that the Cayenne caused some damage, you could try some differnent herbs that are good at soothing inflamed tissues. Generally speaking, Garlic Oil is a known rememdy for ear problems. The thing is, Garlic might also furhter enflame your already-enflamed ear tissues. You could possibly try just plain olive oil. Marshmallow is a great herb for soothing enflamed tissue, but I honestly do not know the best way to get some Marshmallow into your ear.

I can sort of tell by your resorting to a homeopathic remdedy to offset a previous effort, you are sort of throwing darts trying to recover.... trust me, I can certainly appreciate that, but sometimes throwing more stuff onto a situation can make the situation worse... and sometimes there is value in that old line "sometimes less is more". By this I mean, rather than adding more ingredients to your situation, you might try adding less. In other words, you could try a a 1 or 2 day fast to see if this brings some relief. From what I understand, inner ear problems are often times influenced by diet. Maybe try going a day or two on only juice and water.

If you have time, you might try checking in at the Natural Healing forum. Uny is pretty knowledgeable about Schulze methods. Good luck.
