I stupidly put cayenne pepper in my right ear almost two weeks ago. I suffered a wild episode of spinning rooms and now, 10 days later, I still have some unsteadiness and dizzyness. Apparently, the cayenne papper caused swelling of the inner ear around the Eustachian tube blocking its ability to open and close to normalize pressure in the ear. I assume that by now the swelling has gone down but I'm still a bit unsteady.

I guess maybe there is still some swelling in there. Yesterday, I started taking Arnica homeopathic pills (30x) in hopes of eliminating the dizzyness. Am I being impatient to expect full recovery by now? I really hope I didn't do permanent damage to my inner ear.
