i studied and translated in the original languages for three years while living in the wilderness in alaska. that and stay warm is all i did. none of the translations are perfect. the way a person uses the bible is up to them. most use it inappropriately, obviously. it can only be applied internally by an individual. its not for groups, its not for social welfare, and it certainly isnt the basis of secular laws, though thats all people use them for.

its the owners manual for this life. if you never read it and apply it you have no idea what youre doing.
