Sweetie, I've had seven babies. I definitely know about morning sickness!
How far along are you? Most ladies get over it around week 16, but a few puke their way through the entire pregnancy. Honestly, morning sickness isn't that big of a deal during the first trimester, but as the baby grows, you DO need to be able to keep food down.
I know nothing of Mrs. Barefoot, but I do know Uny's herbal calcium is good and very safe for Mommies-to-be.
Ginger juice is awesome for relieving nausea symptoms. You can either juice it in a juicer or chew on some and spit out the pulp. Peppermint leaf is also fantastic for nausea. Sip it as a tea (infusion) throughout the day with some raw honey in it, as much as you can tolerate. Lobelia is a calming herb, and can help stop the heaves.
Drinking your green drinks with Superfood is awesome. You know you're getting at least SOME nutrition in there, if only for a few minutes before you toss it back up. Carry a glass around with you, stick a straw in it, and anytime you think you can handle a sip, drink a bit. Have you tried making the smoothies with ice? Drinking icy drinks when I was preggers sometimes quieted the nausea, as did sucking on ice. You're welcome to try it.
If you really have trouble with hypermesis gravidarum, there are herbal suppositories you can make and use to get the vomiting to stop.
I remember one pregnancy when I couldn't hold anything down for about a month. Back then I would just suck on peppermint candies (don't do this), because I couldn't stand to have anything in my mouth. I rejoiced greatly when I was able to hold a cracker down! Even with the horrible morning sickness, I gave birth to a healthy 10 pound bouncing baby boy... who is now 6 foot 3 and weighs 200 pounds of muscle.
HTH,
Wings
