Opening the CD is going to be a hassle, but probably not impossible.

If needed, I would first try someone with a mackintosh, just in case.

Second chance are pirate sites with all kinds of cracked programs. That is probably the best bet.

Even if you can't open it, the next doctor, you may use for later check up will be able to do so.
