 Where is the ambient air entrace?

If both ports are outputs than that is a really strange design. And kind of stupid since the pressure from the small pump inside would be split up. Looking at it I would have thought that the dryer tube was the input to prevent moisture from condensing inside the tube. If they are both outputs though then they would have a small aquarium pump inside and the intake is right before the pump diaphragms.
