Hi Everyone,

I was hoping there was an Astromony forum after searching through 'A'.

I'm constantly learning new aspects about space and just recently, what the Vaccum in space actually means. I couldn't believe how this bit of information changed the way I have been looking at space and the opening of doors it has done for my theories.

Today I was reading a book, The Solar System - Earth, Author, Robin Birch, ISBN 0-7329-8901-9.

Did you know that the Earth's crust is relatively young around 500 million years old in comparison to that of Mercury's crust which is 4000 million years old.

Very fascinating. This then got me thinking about the difference in age of every planet in our solar system and in what order each planet was formed entirely.

Did you know that the suns offical name is Solaris. Did you know that an asteroid becomes a metorite as soon it passes through the earths atmosphere and makes contact with the ground. I could talk and talk and ....

Looking up at night
Shooting stars, so bright

The vast distance my eyes do see
Capturing a glimpse of eternity

Tail of a comet, gliding through the sky
I'm so happy to have seen it, oh my, oh my

As the sun gently rises in the dawn of the day,
The night gently eases, in it's splendid way....

Goodnight,

Susie
