Never took Amitriptyline (Elavil) but have been taking valium 2.5-5mg at night to help with sleep. (stopped a week ago) Could that have the same effect? I could have Neurasthenia a lot of the same symptoms except no numbness, most of the others.Before the current liver illness I was on holiday for 4 weeks and ate and drank too much, long international flights got home and started feeling bad, that was 6 weeks ago. Never had liver pain or such bad bloating before.

Re ES have you used anything else? I tried a flush with Mag citrate and no results. Can I use less than 4 tbs and if so how much and when?
Also what do you mean when you say "to eat in a way to suit what you have".
