i am so glad you're having it removed. Please be assured that you will feel better but maybe it will take a little time - i am now 3 months post and i am just starting to feel like my old self again - i have had so many problems with this evil device since i got it in November 08 and had it removed in June after thinking i had developed some kind of horrible auto immune disorder and i couldn't cope with life sometimes, ii thought i was going crazy had pain down my arm into my wrist and fingers and couldn't lift it and had probs with muscle spasms in my head and all the other symtoms that go with it, no feelings whatsoever - my partner walked out and left me to it 2 months ago - he said i was angry all the time and obsessed with trying to prove that it was caused by the iud - i know in my heart that it was but now i feel so much better and i hope you will too but give it time - you will see a difference straight away but if you don't please dont worry - it does get better in time take care x bugsymalone
