They can be mixed, but octotillo bark is hard to find. Red root is the most effective, but chickweed has more benefits and is very nutritious. The only other real benefit I am aware of for mullein leaf is as an antihistamine. So I would focus primarily on the red root and chickweed. That would make a great combination. And no contraindications.
