Sorry, but much as I like Andreas Moritz, I believe most emphatically that the evidence is overwhelming that cancer itself does kill. I also believe, as I have said before, that the survival mechanism is on the part of the cells that change into cancer cells and not the body itself, and is an aberration and invasive threat that must be eliminated both at the root cause and at the site of the cancer cells as well.
I certainly agree that the root causes of cancer usually must be addressed in order to beat it once and for all. However, in quite a few instances, the root cause may no longer be present - yet the cancer continues to advance. Consider for example cancers that have developed as a result of exposure to radiation, or other mutagens that are no longer present.
Root causes being present or not, at some point cancers will become so advanced that simply removing the root cause will in many instances not be enough to remove the cancer. Therefore, it is imperative to me that people take measures to remove the root causes while also taking specific actions to remove the cancer itself.
Cancer occurs, in my opinion, when toxins and other items cause inflammation/irritation or else cells are exposed to a direct mutagen such as radiation or chemo drugs themseles. As a result, the individual cells change DNA messages and they go into a protective mode to avoid natural elimination by the immune system and often morph so that a viral element presents itself. The cells refuse to die, continue to multiply and also infect other healthy cells.
I cannot embrace the idea that nature would have such a flaw as an overall survival mechanism that can and does end up killing the entire host by infecting healthy cells and robbing the life from the rest of the body for the benefit of cancerous cells. The idea may sell a lot of books but it just does not float with me.
All the best,
DQ
