I have been doing the south beach/atkins diet to lose weight. Before I figured out it was the Mirena, my Dr. kept harping on me to lose weught. I am around 15 heavier than ideal and a size 8(sometimes 6). I am hardly obese,I just think he was looking for a easy answer to my being tired all the time. There are obese people that I know that don't seem as bad off as we are. I like to eat junk when the anxiety or just plain crappy feeling kicks in. Comfort food. My arms feel really achey, like their weak somedays(like today). Stick with it if you can and don't beat yourself up if you don't. My diet never bothered me pre-mirena, just occasional heartburn, I think we're all out of whack!!!!!!!!!
