 Sucralose (Splenda)  is a sugar alcohol. Is it also safe?

Sucralose is not a sugar alcohol. It is made by taking sucrose and replacing three of the hydrogen atoms in the sugar molecule with 3 chlorine atoms. It is more stable than the poison aspartame, but it is still not safe. Here is some reading on the side effects:
