For our daughter's jaundice, we picked up a full spectrum light bulb and put it in a goose neck lamp and shone it on her while she was in the bassinet. I think we draped a receiving blanket over the top portion where her head was to keep the light out of her eyes. She was stripped down to just a diaper so the light could shine on as much skin as possible. The jaundice cleared up in a few days.

Frequent nursing will help his liver process the bilirubin out. That was the advice from my ped.
