If you can compare the dry weight of the same volume of the same variety, the heavier one will be the highest quality. This is because the variety of alkaline minerals in it are heavier than the water and sugar constituting most of poorer quality stuff.

That's the way I'll probably get after a while too - to start phasing the low Brix foods out. I guess I haven't got to the point of throwing them away yet, but if I stop buying them in the 1st place, that's a step in the right direction.

I have 2 kinds of organic corn grits here right now, and will compare them. I was going to take one of them back to the store and ask for a refund because it tastes like it's got ground up husk in it or something - it's just not the way it should be.

I eat Ezekiel bread often, which I think many of you would approve of.
