i disagree , double blind studies are not flawed IF the sample size is large enough - with a larger sample size these health histories you talk of become less of an issue.

of course since you can't have double blind studies with things like chiropractic and acupuncture then these things become 'unproven' in the eyes of western medicine yet to many thousands of people they have worked.
