yah.

dunno about you, but I was born in 1959. My mom taught us girls all about cooking and maintaining a home(especially me, eldest daughter). But my brothers? Nada. They're both useless(except for bringing home some $).

Anyway, how DO you boil an egg? I had to explain that tonight. And how to peel, and use an egg slicer. *sigh*

My mom, born in 1936, used to say, "women don't sweat, they glow".

My mom HAD to get married, because of love child(my aforementioned bro).

the women in my family were prepared, the men? not so much. Huge difference between my sis & I and my bros. At least my younger bro has enough of a survival instinct that he found a well-trained woman. Older bro? nyet,

He actually has some color in his face today. baby steps....
