wow, thanks for the very detailed response! I am afraid to get my hopes up to be honest, after trying so many things that have not gotten me where I want to be. Have you found anyone to need more of an individuated program? I guess I mean that what often seems to work well for many people quite often doesn't for me, or I have some sort of adverse response that makes me wonder if everyone is different and one program doesn't cure all? Or maybe it's just me....
I actually have done some reading on Schulze's programs in the past, but I have never used his formulas or followed any of the specific protocols. I think I tried the cayenne for awhile, but it gave me such bad stomach cramps that I stopped, so I'm cautiously on the fence about whether I can take it safely, I usually get a lot of GI upset whenever eating anything hot and spicy. When I take Barefoot's LBB on an empty stomach, if it is more than 2 capsules, even with a lot of water and the tiny amount of cayenne in that formula, it'll give me bad enough stomach pain once those capsules start dissolving that I have to eat a couple spoonfuls of yogurt or something. Still, I KNOW I'm developing circulation problems in my legs and feet in particular just from working so much sitting at a computer, and I think heart and circulation difficulties sort of run in my family, anyway, so I know I need to address that.
I just got a large load of unexpected work dumped on me, so the next week or two will be really busy, but I'll try to review the info you sent - you're right, it's pretty overwhelming right now. The IP package I'm sure is economical by comparison to single products, not to mention all I've spent even just this past year, but I have to get past the $500+ all at once sticker shock. That would be a painful number if I didn't have success with this, either, since up to now, that's been my experience with almost every protocol I've tried. The only reason I can even consider it right now is a recent tax refund, which truthfully should be going into our non-existent retirement fund.
If there are a few products in the kit that I already have, (like the charcoal and bentonite, though the Bentonite I have is in a liquid form), can the kit be customized or items substituted? I do actually have some wilson's coffee and an enema bucket. I gotta say every time I've tried the coffee enema - different amounts, different lengths of time, etc., I never get the liver/GB relief in a way I can detect (and I'm fairly tuned in to the workings of those organs). It typically just takes up more time than I can spare and makes me feel simultaneously jittery and wiped out. My friend who has cured her cancer with natural methods was talking up colonics the other day, and I've done a series of those as well... with a very good therapist... and ultimately they made me more bloated and constipated. I've also noticed that many of the herbs in various female formulas that are supposed to bring balance to the hormones end up making my PMS/breast tenderness worse - very rapidly, and I've read that estrogenic herbs can be a problem for anyone who is estrogen dominant, which I suspect I am.....and right now based on how I feel, I'm starting to suspect the herbs in the floradex iron formula....So... see where I'm going with this? So frustrating.
I have done SO much bowel and Liver Cleansing over the years, I don't know how in the world I'm still "toxic," unless it's basically the product of infection and lack of good circulation/oxygenation. I'm 42, and while I still have regular periods, this is the first month in quite awhile that I still have swollen, sore breasts and a pinched pain type of sensation in my pelvis AFTER my period has ended. Usually the breast tenderness disappears for the most part once I start bleeding. My period was over yesterday, and my body still looks and feels like it's just about to start. Ugh.
BTW, I asked Dr. Brownstein about doing a juice fast and he told me "not right now." Twice. Doesn't mean I'm necessarily going to follow his advice, and by the time I get around to doing it, I'll have been on the supplemental herbal iron for at least a month, so hopefully I'll have more energy by then if indeed that's part of the fatigue issue.
Anyway, thanks again, and hopefully I'll figure out how, when and where to start with all this. It sounds like you had similar hormonal issues at about the same age, so I'm hopeful that I can cure mine also.
