Hey Cisco, nice to see you here.
I have a big problem with people who mix religious beliefs with science, or use the "all my knowledge comes from god" rubbish. I have been an expert witness many times in courts of law. I gained recognition as an expert because I relied on Science and research to back my findings and opinions. If I had gone into court and relied on people's testimonies (which can be suspect on many levels depending on the agenda of the person), or spouted religious ramblings, I would have been laughed out of the court room, or worse, damaged the case in question. My credibility would have been zero.
Hv has gained credibility through posting sound reasoning and using Science to back up his opinions and findings, when the Science and reasoning are sound, there is no need to drag in the scare tactics, such as telling people they are the devil, going to hell or denying god or whatever, just because they do not agree.
