Hi,

I have done a fair bit of reading on magnesium supplementing and it appears that by far the most efficient is magnesium chloride. It seems to work marvels on wounds and sores applied topically and it is also claimed to be quite bioavailable due to its being a chloride, so that the stomach acid does not have to convert it from some other compound, like citrate.

The cheapest form is the common deicer, but it has impurities which I would definitely avoid. It can be obtained in health stores as pill, as well as a solution in water, which is called magnesium oil for its viscosity.

Never the less, from what you say, you have most likely either a chronic infection of some kind, or some single mineral deficiency. If your problem started suddenly, infection is much more likely to be behind it, probably fungal. If you are dark skinned, vitamin D may be what you lack.

With kind regards, Slavek.
