the love avoidance/phobic sounds like someone I am involved or NOT involved with..

maybe some men do have real cause for not wanting commitment, could be real fear mixed in with very real circumstances such as a heavy duty workload and being a caretaker...

Maybe someone like that is best to treat as simply a "lover" and see where things can go.

If they are truly afraid but there is a real connection then maybe time can clear things up.

And if not, the other NOT phobic person will hopefully lose interest after awhile!
