Hi Paraboy,
Your question:
Would it be correct to conclude that
Live Carbons will not change to oxides if overheated, but
inorganic non-live carbons will change to oxides when over heated?
Thanks,
Paraboy
Answer: Let us back up a little bit!
All Alkaline Minerals are Oxide Minerals!
Why are they Oxide Minerals?
Because they have an affinity for Oxygen!
Carbon is not an Oxide!
Yet, Live Carbons may contain Alkaline Minerals, thus Oxygen!
The Difference between Live Carbons and just Carbon is Water!
Live carbons contain Water(H2O)!
Elemental Carbon does not contain water!
Cause and Effect!
Smile Tis your choice.
