I have my 17 year old son on Iodoral, also. He had the whole round of immunizations as a baby plus a lot fluoride as his drink of choice is water, so I figured he could use some "leaching" via iodine. (We also supped all of the companion nutrients with him.)

He had been on it for a couple of months and suddenly developed a small rash on his chest. I painted it with Lugols. The rash that was painted started going away almost immediately, only to have new areas pop up. We kept this up for a week as the rash continued to move/spread. It looked a lot like measles. He also had mild fluoridosis of his teeth. After just a couple of months on iodine, and using baking soda on his teeth instead of toothpaste and the yellowing is about 50% better.

I'm in love with this stuff, lol.

PS ~ am hoping the detox for the series of typhoid shots I got as a kid aren't even close to what the shots did to me, ouch!
