I didn't say that drinking herbal tea during a Water Fast was OK. I specifically said that any taste confuses the body and puts it in a starvation state instead of a fasting state.

Since she has been drinking juice, I said as a "transition" to Water Fasting for a day or two if she really needed it, drinking herbal tea was not the worst thing she could do. But once into true water only fasting, water ONLY is the best.
