In essence, I have to do an additional week of detox before I start the probiotics? Because, aside from the 12 hours of fun, I have followed the plan very closely.

I did have 5 BM that morning, is this the excess mucous your are talking about? I was in a lot of pain (stomach craps/pressure) all day Saturday, with little BM's here and there, but that has subsided since the 5 larger BM's on sunday morning. Plus I hike 5 miles on Sat and Sunday, which was extremely difficult w/o carbs.

And sweet tea? Have you ever been south of the mason dixon line? I guess you have not, or you for sure would know sweet tea... basically cold black tea that has been brewed with sugar... I know I was veering of course with these choices, but after a 5 mile hike up hill.... I was powerless from the good comfort eats!
