I guess I am being too hard on myself because I am still seeking my mom's approval. She is very loving and supportive but had high standards and expectations for me. Many family/friends/relatives constantly tell me they have great expectations for me. When I finished college and started working, I was seeking the approval of the manipulative bosses. Well, until recently, I started to rebell badly against the authorities. The worst part is: I feel guilty to experience the authority disapproval and disappointment.
