There are a few "holes" in your understanding here.
And you can't expect to have a true understanding of this subject from medical schools alone since this is a healing modality which the medical community has no interest in promoting, let alone understanding.
I believe you would enjoy the knowledge available as mentioned in Pepe's post above.
