 I've taken one iodoral a day last few days. The other day i had flu like symptoms, like i was coming down with something. Today i've just become aware my throat is sore.

Is this a good or bad thing?

It is not likely to have anything to do with the iodine.  Do you have any muscle aches, fever, or other symptoms?
