My thinking is that the body would metabolize and destroy all but the healthy and normal tissues in the body as it sustains itself without outside nutritional intake. benign cysts, abnormal growths, etc would all be prime targets before healthy tissue gets broken down. But to be honest with you I have not done an extensive amount of research on this. I was just throwing out a potential idea that seems to make sense to me.
