I was hospitalized at age 19 under the same auspice. Gained the weight, got out, was worse than when admitted and underweight.

Fascinates me that THIS group advocates treating a symptom in lieu of its cause.

And NO one knows what "protocols" I've taken on fully (aside from eye-oh). NO one knows diddley about my diet, lifestyle, mindset, psyche - for better or worse. Agreed - what it has been (since ill) is not working. But why go to extremes to produce useless results.

I can think of hundreds of other ways to achieve simple "weight gain". And ten or more methods of correcting the rest.

I'm sorry. I don't want to fight about it. And I appreciate and (to a point) recognize the value in all comments presented.

But let's not forsake that we all and each exist within our own paradigm.
