I am glad you are okay. Had something similar happen one night, I managed to pull off the road before he hit me, was on the phone with 911 the entire time and less than two mins later he swung into an oncoming lane and killed a mother of five. Very drunk, did the speeding up thing too out of nowhere scary fast, very frightening.

I always assume everyone driving is an idiot, it has saved me more times than I can count. But I suspect there are a lot of times we are saved through no wise effort of our own without even knowing it.

I have to admit I laughed when you mentioned the screaming thing, I was trying to picture you being hysterical and all I could imagine was the scene from airplane when all the passengers line up to smack the hysterical stewardess. Very out of character, but I imagine a very rude awakening it was indeed.

PS. funniest thing I ever saw was I was behind a mac truck and he hit a javelina and it flew up high, right past my window like something out of the tornado scene in the wizard of oz. Pigs CAN fly...if you hit em hard enough.
