I'm convinced i'm Hypo and it just hit me when you mentioned the symptom for low thyroid is loss of hair.I'm

actually a very hairy guy but on both my lower legs from
my ankles to half way up the knee i've lost my hair. Also
the lower half of my forearms have less hair than the upper
half.I have heard this loss of hair on your legs is a sign
of heart disease.Any truth to that.I've also read that when
the half moon on the thumbs are really big it's also a sign
of heart disease.Unfortunately i have the hair loss along
with the big half moons.Have you ever heard of this and do
you believe this could be true?

When they say heart disease this includes some causes of poor circulation. And poor circulation can cause hair loss from the arms and legs. The poor circulation could be from a number of reasons including hypothyroidism and diabetes.

Although a more likely cause of the prolem is an autoimmune condition known as alopecia areata. This sounds more likely due to the hair being lost over such a large area. If this is the case then I recommend antimicrobials such as chaparral, pau d' arco and andrographis, and work on building up the adrenals.
