 In my healthfood store they sell tanning tablets. How does that work do you think, and i wonder if they are harmful at all.

The only ones I have seen are the carotenoid ones, which do not really work. Here is a interesting article on the topic. There are descriptions and safety information on the different tanning pills towards the bottom of the article:
