Glaxony, H gives some very good advice regarding magnesium.  Let me also suggest that you try nebulizing with colloidal  silver and Dr. Christopher's lobelia extract.  5 cc of 20 PPM colloidal silver to 1 cc of Lobelia.  You could also try adding a cc of mullein or else make yourself some mullein tea.  Add in one other product if you become terribly congested: the Chinese herbal formula product ClearLungs ultra.  All of those are available from our friends at Utopia Silver (use the CZ discount code of LR001 to get 15% off if they are not on sale).  I can almost promise you wonderful results.  And by all means make sure you are getting plenty of magnesium as H suggests.
