I am on day 12 of a juice fast.

I tried to do my first salt water flush (SWF) this morning.

I drank a cup of yogi herbal laxative tea last night.

This morning, first thing, I had a cup of hot water with lemon and cayenne, and a half hour later I mixed the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) solution, of 2 tsp Sea Salt with 1 quart of lukewarm water. (body temperature.)

I waited and waited and nothing. Finally I sat on the bowl and managed to have a normal (for fasting) small BM. But no water at all.

I was very disappointed. First, I was really looking forward to a new way of cleansing the intestines and colon during a fast. Also, the idea of all that salt staying in me kinda freaks me out.

Tomorrow I plan on trying to do another SWF, but this time with 3 tsp of seal salt. I'll be really bummed if that doesn't work, and all that salt stays in my system.

Am I doing the right thing?

Btw, I am also very well hydrated. In addition to the juices I am making for myself I am drinking around three quarts of distilled water a day.
