Maggie,

In the link that Uny gave you the RO system is $329.00, cheaper than the one your friend says you can get.

Or you can buy a countertop distiller.  I've been using one for years and its perfect.  Dr. Christopher insisted on nothing but distilled water.  The reason Uny says she uses the RO is because she has to have so much water on a daily basis.  For the average person a countertop distiller suits our needs perfectly.  I've been drinking over a gallon of distilled water on a daily basis for as long as I can remember plus I cook with distilled and I've never had a problem with not having enough.

Here are a couple of quotes from two different posts Uny made regarding Dr Christopher's stance on distilled water.

"Dr. Christopher is clear on this point - our bodies are full of WAY too many 'hard minerals' and the 'empty' distilled water is essential for pulling them out."

"--Dr. Christopher INSISTED on distilled water. He claimed that the 'hard minerals' would be accepted by the body (we don't throw-up when we drink them), but instead of being utilized, the majority go into the bloodstream and serve as the root of MANY health issues. He believed that distilled water would pull out a lifetimes of hard-minerals, but not touch plant-based minerals."

"--Dr. Schulze insisted on distilled or RO water (like due to Dr. Christopher's teachings) and because the water is 'empty', hence capable of making more potent teas & decoctions."

I hope you can make a choice sooner rather than later so you can get the clean water you so need for your body.
