An inguinal hernia is when the abdominal wall (tissue) rips/tares and the intestine pokes through (protrudes) the opening in the wall. So if you don't see or feel the bulge of the intestines pushing out through the tare in the abdominal wall, then what you have is not a hernia.

Your intestines might be getting pinched by a muscle (I don't know, just guessing) and you have INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION (intestinal obstruction can get serious).

I have no medical training whatsoever, but it seems more like an intestinal, testes, or prostate problem (unless a weakening of the intestinal wall can EVOLVE over YEARS). A chiropractor might be able to adjust your muscles/bones in the groin area.

Eat 'easy to digest' food (tuna, cottage cheese, etc.) or get most/all of your nutrition from vegetable juices (check the juicing forum).

Check ALL symptoms and possibilities before spending money on a doctor (a chiropractor might only cost fifty dollars, but any other doctor might give you hundreds of dollars of tests).

SEA salt is always helpful for many healthy body functions.

Look on the following list for anything "PELVIC"...

The vagus nerve goes from the brain to the stomach area and can get tangled around the esophagus (causes HIATAL hernia near the bellybutton and also causes acid reflux/heartburn), but I don't think the nerve extends down to the groin area.
