 Are these safe while nursing? or should I wait until I wean my little guy?

It depends a lot on the bitter. There are some bitters that have compounds I would worry about such as the camphor in Swedish Bitters. Since you are breast feeding your best bet would be to get a tincture of artichoke leaf. This would act as a bitter, supports the liver, and is safe.
