How many ounces of BF&C do you use to make the bath to soak in?

Also, what would you suggest for a ligament tear on a knee for a little boy? I'm giving six capsules a day of BF&C and fruit and veggie smoothies, comfrey paste, and BF&C ointment, as well as fomentation throughout the day, plus wheat germ oil three times a day. I wanted to soak him in the bath as well, but don't know how much herb to use. I've tried to immobilize the knee as best as I can, but he still seems to wiggle it around. It is hot to the touch and still a little swollen. It happened two days ago.
