Teresa,

It sounds like it's possibly a gallstone, maybe a stone stuck in the bile duct. If you can get some Epsom Salts take a dose and see if it's gives you any relief. The Epsom Salt opens the bile ducts (which i'm sure you already know). I know you said you didn't have any but when you went to the store did you get some? If not maybe you can send someone to get some for you. If you can get the Epsom Salt down i'd say follow it up with some olive oil and do a mini flush. I'd continue doing caster oil packs as well.

If the popcorn was buttery it's possible that after having a totally vegan diet that it increased bile production possibly lodging a stone?
