Just a comment since I began taking (or tried to take) both herbs about a month ago consistently in good amount. The results in combination with Astragalus is that I've had significant improvements using Ashwaganda for my adrenal issues in which absolutely nothing else was working.

The Schizandra I found actually over-stimulated me however and as a result I had to cut it down to a very low amount I only take every couple of days (about 1/3 tsp) otherwise it would be too much for me. I can't say this will happen for others, this has just been my experience. The Astragalus however with Ashwaganda 3 heaping tsp daily has made a significant difference for me, and I don't know why I didn't start on these herbs sooner.

I also went back to using Tribulus again or Gokshura in addition which has significantly helped my energy levels and made me feel like a normal man again since I started experiencing severe burnout 2+ years ago.

Hveragerthi, where do you buy your Schizandra online? As the other poster mentioned it's difficult to find it cheap and $14/pound would be a steal. I'm paying $30/pound organic at mountain rose herbs which I'm sure is where the poster was referring to.
