I was on a 6 month course of Roaccutane 6 years ago.
At that time I had been having odour problems for a couple of years but was still able to live a normal life. I don't think that the Roaccutane was the root cause of my problem but it could be the reason why it got a lot worse and is as bad as it is at the moment (to the point that I am completely housebound).
Before my problems started I had actually tried to overdose on painkillers so I think that there is definitely a link between these sorts of odour problems and medication use (or abuse in my case). And from the reading that I have done supposedly NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti Inflamatory Drug) can cause candida overgrowth (presumably from weakening the intestinal tract) so I'm sure that Roaccutane can do a lot worse to a persons overall health.
I wish I had never taken Roaccutane or of course taken those overdoses (to think I thought I had problems then!!!)but you live and learn I suppose.
I am just going to concentrate on doing every thing that I can to undo all the damage that I have done and I have hope that I will soon see an end to this problem.
